PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately observe a stereoscopic video without the need for a means of exchanging right and left videos with each other, even if an observer moves. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a projector 1, temporally alternately projecting the videos for right and left eyes, an image-forming means 2a forming the right and left images from the projector 1 on a light diffusing plate 2b, a shutter means 4 provided with plural shutter areas in the lateral direction capable of switching light transmission to/from light shielding, and forming a video light reaching narrow width area having a width narrower than the respective pixel areas inside the respective pixel areas on the plate 2b, a light guiding means 2c converging the light of an image from the video light reaching narrow width area on a position at a specified distance from the plate 2b with a gap, having the width of half distance between eyes or a gap smaller than that, and a shutter control means 5 controlling light transmitting and light shielding of the shutter area of the set of two adjacent shutter areas in the means 4, based on the output of a sensor 10 detecting the position of the observer 3. |
