PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to circulate vessels in a hot state sequentially without using man power, reduce a necessary number of the vessels to be circulated, and obtain labor-saving and better efficiency. SOLUTION: The continuous heat treatment furnace 1 transferring products to be heated 4 in vessels 5 in the furnace 1 comprises a returning route 10 for returning the empty vessels from a side of an outlet 3 of the heat treatment furnace 1 to a side of an inlet 2 of the heat treatment furnace 1, a vessel- turnover mechanism 13 for discharging dust remaining in the inside of each of the vessels 5 by its own weight by turning each of the vessels 5 upside down on the returning route 10, and a sticking object-removing device 15 comprising a brushing mechanism 14 for removing sticking objects on an inside surface of each of the vessels 5 by pressing a rotating brush 25 onto the inside surface of each of the vessels 5.
