Digger blade at side adjacent to ax cutting edge has widened portion extending over its whole length. Shank is offset toward ax cutting edge to digger center of gravity. Front surface of digger is free from recesses. Handle is made from, for instance, steel pipes which are telescopically connected one with the other.
