PURPOSE: A program for calculating material resin and heat balance is provided to help to design and produce a plasma pyrolysis reacting furnace by conveniently seizing inputting condition and reacting condition according to the composition of various wastes. CONSTITUTION: A mechanism of pyrolysis and melting for a program is based on the steam-carbon reaction of C+H2O=CO+H2+2350kcal/kg. Herein, the required energy is supplied from a plasma torch. The reactive condition is varied by the composition of treated material, torch capacity, the amount of air supplied to the torch, amount of steam, the heat loss of reacting furnace, and the ratio of CO and CO2. Therefore, the calculation is complicated. Herein, the temperature of pyrolysis, the amount of gas, the composition of gas, and the amount of steam are recognized by using a designing formula.
