PURPOSE: A graphic user interface for an enhanced mobile wireless telephone is provided to enable all users of mobile wireless telephone to use an enhanced form of graphic user interface by facilitating information access and input process. CONSTITUTION: A graphic user interface for enhanced mobile wireless telephone includes the following components. A mobile phone(200) holds a display(208) which effectively shows the same information of a list or a text field. A display(208) shows an identifying signal(332, 334), a list indicator(340), and a dynamic scroll indicator(308) which indicates the direction of scroll. A context detecting signal(306) is shown whenever the user uses the highlighted index. The device enable users to quickly and effectively search information.
