PURPOSE: A method for converting time axis of voice with reduced calculation is provided to use a correlation function to reduce calculation amount in time axis conversion using SOLA(synchronized overlap and add). CONSTITUTION: A method for converting time axis of voice with reduced calculation includes first thru third steps. At the first step(ST11), first analysis frame is initialized as a synthesized frame. At the second step(ST13), correlation functions are calculated with same space and an initial synchronous point is searched by comparing the correlated functions, and another correlated function is attained at adjacent point from the searched synchronous point, and the another correlated functions are compared to find final synchronous point. At the third step(ST14), synchronous overlap and add is performed after rearranging according to the synchronous point at the second step(ST13).
