PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently concentrate sludge, to miniaturize a device and to facilitate the maintenance and inspection of the device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a sludge storage tank 1, to which a concentrated sludge discharge pipe 3 is connected at the lower part, a cylindrical bottomed filtration drum 4, which is vertically provided in the sludge storage tank 1 and to which a filtrate discharge pipe 8 is connected, a scraper 9 for scraping sludge cake stuck to the filtration drum 4 and a cleaning means 10. In such a case, the filtration drum 4 is rotatable around the center axis line.
