PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily fix an excavating device by fixing the excavating device on the ground through a preliminarily set balloon. SOLUTION: A fixing hole 6 is properly bored in a position at a prescribed distance from a hole to be drilled in the ground, and the balloon 7 of a fixing device 5 is inserted to the drilled hole 6 and temporarily supported by a flange. High-pressure air is supplied from an air compressor to an air feed port and made to flow into the balloon 7 from a communicating port through a fixed rod 10. The balloon 7 is swollen by the inflow of high-pressure air with an upper ring being moved downward, and closely fitted to the inside surface of the hole 6 to fix the fixing device 5, and an excavating device 1 is also fixed thereby. According to this, the excavating device 1 can be safely and easily fixed only by feeding the air pressure to the balloon 7.
