FLUORESCENT FILM STRUCTURE, PASTE FOR FORMING FLUORESCENT FILM, AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fluorescent film structure, a paste for forming the fluorescent film and a plasma display panel(PDP) using the fluorescent film are provided to increase the brightness of the fluorescent film and to reduce the fabrication cost, by reducing the amount used of a phosphor powder. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel using a fluorescent film increases the brightness of the fluorescent film by making fluorescent particles contribute to the emission without increasing the number of fabrication processes, and reduces the fabrication cost by reducing the amount used of the expensive phosphor powder. A fluorescent film(16) comprises a number of fluorescent particles(16a) and void(16b) formed between the fluorescent particles. The void is formed in a ratio of 40-80% among the fluorescent film.
