PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a construction period, and to reduce a cost by suspending plural sound absorbing plates in a flat attitude almost parallel to building floor surface by wire ropes horizontally arranged in a ceiling space inside of a building. SOLUTION: A wire inserting fixing part 14 is provided in an upper part, and groove-shaped corner frames 12 fitted to an intermediate part of the long side edge 7 of sound absorbing plates 1 are opposed to form a sound absorbing plate holder 10 integrally connected by an upper connecting piece 13. The corner frames 12 of the holder 10 are fitted to the long side edge 7 of the plural sound absorbing plates 1, and the sound absorbing plates 1 are held by the holder 10. Parallel wire ropes 2 are inserted into wire inserting fixing parts 14 of the holder 10, and the sound absorbing plates 1 are arranged in a row by having a mutual adjacent interval S in the ropes 2 so as to become a flat attitude almost parallel to a floor surface of a billing to form a suspending unit 3. Plural suspending units 3 are pulled up by a winch to be installed in a ceiling space 5 to thereby shorten a construction period.
