PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition which can easily clean fins or plastic resins without degrading them by incorporating a low-boiling solvent and a surfactant into the same. SOLUTION: The low-boiling solvent is preferably a hydrocarbon solvent which has a b.p. of 10-40 deg.C and leaves behind a small amount of the residue, e.g. n-pentane or isopentane. The content of the solvent is preferably 1-10 wt.%. The surfatant is suitably selected in terms of the effects on cleaning dirt on fins, the influence on molding materials for air conditioners, the solubility in the solvent, and aging stability. For example, an anionic surfactant (e.g. an alkylbenzenesulfonate), a nonionic surfactant (e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether), and preferably an amphoteric surfactant (e.g. a fatty acid amide propyldimethylaminocarboxybetaine) can be selected, The content of the surfactant is preferably 0. 0001-1 wt.%.
