PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which enables exact changeover of a stream of a channel connecting two rivers or the like, by one pump. SOLUTION: A sluice is provided in a channel C connecting two rivers or the like. The sluice is provided with two swing gates 3 rotating around a vertical axis provided at the central part of the channel C and an underwater pump 4 is attached to one of the swing gates 3. By rotating the swing gate 3 at an angle of 180 deg., accordingly, the underwater pump 4 attached thereto is transferred to the opposite side of the gates and thereby a stream can be changed over.
