PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet house with deodorizing functions without using a deodorizer. SOLUTION: This pet house with deodorizing functions is composed of a room b for rearing a pet and a deodorizing room (a) having deodorizing functions in the upper part thereof. The deodorizing room (a) is provided with a photocatalytically active film in an illuminating lamp 4 for a photocatalyst and a part exposed to the illumination of the lamp 4. A space between the room b for rearing and the deodorizing room (a) is partitioned with a light shielding plate so as not to directly irradiate the pet with the illumination of the illuminating lamp 4 for the photocatalyst. Ventilating ports 5 are installed so that the outside air is passed through the room b for rearing and then passed through the surface of the photocatalytically active film of the deodorizing room (a) and discharged to the outside. |
