PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform shift operation to each transmission gear in a space-saving state in the case of shift-operating with two transmission gears by an operating lever for combined use. SOLUTION: This shift operating device for a traveling vehicle is provided with an operating means for shift-operating a first shift part and a second shift part for shifting travel system power by an operating lever 28 for combined use. The operating means is provided with a shift part 32 for switching the first shift part into the shift operable state and the second shift part into the shift operable state by the operating lever 28 by moving the operating lever 28 into two longitudinal positions P1, P2.
