A granular mass is prepared on the basis of raw materials selected from common soil and they are ground and sieved to obtain a granulometric curve included within ideal and duly equilibrated limits. They are mixed, with the addition of cement, dye and water until the optimum moisture content is obtained. This mass is placed in the metallic mould of a press in order to be subjected to a geocompressive force for its reduction in accordance with a specific law which applies velocity, transitory pressure and definitive pressure, expulsion of the gas and closing together of grains being obtained in the initial stage; next, the liquids are evacuated to the outside, entraining the fine particles of cement which close the pores, complete sintering of the mass being achieved to a level such that, without air or excess water, it is transformed into a solid with a density greater than that of a natural geological stone. <IMAGE>
