METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INVESTIGATING ELECTRIC RESISTIVITY OF SEPARATED TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING PARTS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for investigating an electric resistivity of separated transmitting and receiving parts are provided to extract a resistivity distribution two or three-dimensionally by disposing measuring points vertically or horizontally and prevent accidents by disposing all equipments in a visibility range. CONSTITUTION: In a method for investigating an electric resistivity of separated transmitting and receiving parts, precise synchronizing clocks respectively connected to the transmitting and receiving parts are synchronized, AC supplied from an AC generator is converted to DC in the transmitting part, DC of a predetermined signal shape is injected to the ground via a transmitting electrode pair(C1,C2). The transmitter measures a potential difference of the injected current to provide a gain. The potential difference is converted to a digital signal via an A/D converter and stored in a note book personal computer for control and measurement via a serial communications line for investigating the waveform of the signal.
