PURPOSE: A method for receiving RRT information for a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to share RRT information stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION: A method for receiving RRT information for a digital broadcasting receiver includes first through fifth steps. At the first step(313), a first channel is tuned, a first RRT(rate region table) information is extracted and stored in a memory, and a first address information is stored corresponding to the RRT information. At the second step(315), a second RRT information is extracted from a second channel when the first channel is changed to the second channel. At the third step(311), the first RRT information is compared with the second RRT information, and whether same RRT information is present is detected. At the forth step(315), the second RRT information is stored in the memory when same RRT information is not present. At the fifth step, the RRT information that is not same for two RRT information is stored in the memory sequentially, and the address information corresponding to the RRT information that is not same is stored.
