APPARATUS FOR CONVERTING SOUND MODE INTO VIBRATION MODE IN CELLULAR PHONE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting a sound mode into a vibration mode in a cellular phone is provided to control a sound-outputting operation and a vibration-outputting operation for a received signal, by corresponding to the signal for a contacted status of an electrical contact point which is drawn to outside of a cellular phone body. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for converting a sound mode into a vibration mode in a cellular phone comprises a sound/vibration mode selector(30) and a controller(10). The sound/vibration selector is composed of nippers and a cord. The nippers have an electrical contact point on a part to which both ends of the nippers are contacted. The cord is drawn to outside of a cellular phone body, and is connected to the nippers. The cord forms an electrical path between the electrical contact point and the cellular phone. The sound/vibration mode selector supplies a signal for a contacted status of the electrical contact point to the cellular phone through the cord. The controller corresponds to the signal for the contacted status, and controls a setup for sound/vibration outputting operations when the signal is received.
