PROJECT TYPE VIDEO DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING FILM-TYPE MIRROR ARRAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A project type video display apparatus is provided to reduce the optical loss by forming a light ray incident to a TMA panel to have the same rectangular profile as the TMA panel. CONSTITUTION: An optical source(102) emits light rays. An optical pipe(103) has asymmetrical cross section on the upper and lower side and forms the light rays emitted from the optical source(102) evenly. A source stop(106) concentrates the flux of the light rays passing through the optical pipe(103). A film-type mirror array panel(112) is constituted with mirror pixels for reflecting the light rays passing through the source stop(106) and transforms each mirror to a size corresponding to the intensity of a pixel. A projection stop(114) concentrates the flux of the light rays reflected from each mirror.
