METHOD FOR INTERMITTENTLY RECORDING AND PLAYING IMAGE USING HEAD FOR INTERMITTENT RECORDING

PURPOSE: An intermittent recording and playing method of an image using an intermittent recording head is provided to intermittently record and play for a long time and to minimize a needed change of a deck mechanism and a circuit by using a head drum installed a head for the intermittent recording and a simple control algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording medium is continuously moved under a performing speed of three times mode according to a predetermined speed. A signal is intermittently selected by processing an image signal. The intermittently selected image signal is recorded with two heads for intermittent recording differed azimuths installed near on a drum. In 2N:1(N is larger than 1) of an intermittent selecting ratio, the recording is performed every N rotation of the drum. Thereby, the intermittent recording and the playing are performed. And a needed change of a deck mechanism and a circuit are minimized by using a head drum installed a head for intermittent recording and a simple control algorithm.
