PURPOSE: A loose tube cutting device for an optical fiber cable is provided to remove some portion of the loose tube accurately without damaging the optical fiber line which is disposed in the loose tube. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of guide rollers(12) and a support roller(13) are transversely disposed in a line. Two upper and lower body portions(10,11) are opposite to the transverse blade(14). The upper and lower body portions(10,11) are connected by a connecting pin(15) and a spring(15a). By pressing the upper and lower body portions(10,11), the transverse blade(14) is inserted into the surface of a loose tube. Then, if the loose tube is pulled, the loose tube is cut off transversely.
