PURPOSE: An external signal connector of an SDH(Synchronous digital hierarchy) microwave device is provided to unify interface characteristics and conditions on external signals so that it can enhance a design efficiency and a system reliability. CONSTITUTION: An external signal connector of an SDH microwave device comprises a cable distribution panel(CDP, 204) including a tributary branching module(TBM,206) and a tributary selecting module(TSM, 208), and a tributary unit(TU,210), installed between a wireless transmitter(100) and the cable distribution panel(204), including a physical interface(212), a multiple range connector(214) and an STM-1(Synchronous Transfer Module-1) processing/switching device(216). The TBM(206) connects a standard signal among external signals to a receiving cable(200), and transmits the signal, received from the receiving cable(200), to the TU(210). The TSM(208) connects a standard signal among the external signals to the transmission cable(202), and transmits the standard signal via the transmission cable(202). The TU(210) transmits a 1st and a 2nd path signal, received from the TBM(206), to the wireless transmitter(100) as an STM-1 signal, and transmits the STM-1 signal of the 1st and the 2nd path STM-1 signal, received from the wireless transmitter(100) via the TSM(208).
