COATING MATERIAL FOR NECK SUPPORTING PART OF FIREPROOF MATERIAL BUILT IN TORPEDO LADLE CAR

摘要

PURPOSE: A coating material is provided which prevents damages in the neck supporting part of alcyca matter fireproof bricks used in a torpedo ladle car so that it lengthens the life span of the ladle car fireproof material. CONSTITUTION: A coating material is characterized by consisting of 30-50wt% of magnesia(MgO) class powder, 50-70wt% pf carbon black in the surface of alcyca matter fireproof bricks, 10wt% of novorac type phenol resin in the form of extrapolation as a binding agent wherein the thickness of a coating layer is preferably about 100μm and the raw materials of the magnesia class powder are magnesium hydroixde or magnesia powder and the particle size thereof is preferably less than 5μm.
