METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AMOUNT OF ALUMINUM IN MOLTEN METAL

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the amount of aluminum in molten metal is provided to prevent the temperature of the molten metal from being lowered by eliminating the aluminum in the molten metal in a short period and to maintain the cleanness of the molten metal by eliminating alumina. CONSTITUTION: Iron powder ore and quick lime are mixed for being stored. And, argon gas and oxygen are mixed. The mixture of the iron powder ore and the quick lime is inputted to the transferring pipe of the mixed gas of argon gas and oxygen gas. The mixed powder transferred by the mixed gas is collected in a molten metal for adjusting the amount of aluminum in the molten metal. Herein, the quick lime is 40-50wt% in the mixed powder. And, the oxygen is 4-8mol% in the mixed gas.
