PURPOSE: A RF control unit of a digital enhanced cordless telecommunication(DECT) base station is provided to eliminate unnecessary time and cost owing to a change of a control program by controlling a RF module through an exchange of a ROM which stores data with regard to a control signal. CONSTITUTION: A RF control unit of a DECT base station comprises a power supply part(10) which converts an externally applied power supply voltage of 110V to 220V into a predetermined voltage necessary for each load. A line interface part(20) is connected to a wire line which is coupled to a DECT system, and interfaces overall operation signals between the DECT system and a bast station. An RF module control part(30) analyzes a signal applied through the line interface part(20) from the DECT system to extract a control signal for a modulation of transmitted data and a band selection of a frequency channel. The RF module control part(30) enables an address of a ROM(40) which stores the extracted control, and applies process information of data received from a handset through a cell network into the DECT system. The ROM(40) applies control data stored in a corresponding address to the RF module(50) in response to an enable signal from the RF module control part(50). The RF module(50) modulates data to be transferred to the handset side, and sends the modulated data through an antenna(ANT1) in a radio frequency.
