PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information management system where each terminals having a notice function of position information can utilize mutual position information with each other. SOLUTION: Each terminal records respective position information from a plurality of terminals, having a notice function of position information in cross reference with identification information of a terminal of a notice source, records message information sent arbitrarily from a terminal in cross reference with the identification information of the terminal, and transmits at least the position information and the message information of itself, in response to a request from a terminal. Thus, each terminal can share the position information and the message information of itself with other terminals, while utilizing the information mutually. The system has possibilities for diversified usages different from a conventional system, in comparison to the case where a current position of a PHS terminal is served unilaterally to other terminals.
