PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a proper skin color without caring about a film of a kind suited to the difference of a skin color by analyzing a file having a digital picture so as to identify a first color measuring parameter and correcting the part of the picture having the first color measuring parameter to a second color measuring parameter to obtain a corrected digital picture. SOLUTION: The file having the digital picture is analyzed so as to identify the first color measuring parameter and the part of the picture having the first color measuring parameter is corrected to the second color measuring parameter to obtain a corrected digital picture. In this device, a computer algorithm prepared in a computer 16 first identifies whether there is the skin color of a person in a picture in a picture file obtained by a scanner 22. Then, in the case when a specific part is judged to express a specific skin color, the skin color is corrected to a specific hue or color, or both of them in the next step.
