PURPOSE: A front panel for PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to uniformly distribute electric field strength and charge gains, thereby enhancing discharge characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A front panel for PDP comprises first dielectric patterns(21), bus electrodes(22), second dielectric patterns(23), a transparent electrode(24) and a third dielectric film(25). The first dielectric patterns(21) are formed on a transparent substrate to open bus electrode areas. The bus electrodes(22) are formed between the first dielectric patterns(21). The dielectric patterns(23) are formed on the first dielectric patterns(21) and have narrower width than that of the patterns(21). the transparent electrode(24) covers the bus electrode and the dielectric patterns(21,23) to have steps. The third dielectric film(25) is formed on the patterns(21) and the transparent electrode(24). |
