摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission characteristics and to improve extendibility in the increase of number of wavelengths by selectively relaying optical signals with a second path group for converting optical signals inputted through a first optical path group to a prescribed wavelength and outputting them. SOLUTION: Optical signals Aλ0 from an intra-input-station optical transmission line #64 are inputted via an indoor signal input part and a first optical path λ0 to routing parts λ9-λ16, converted to the optical signals of the wavelength λ16 and outputted by an inter-output-station transmission line through a wavelength merging part. Also, optical signals Bλ25 from an inter-input-station optical transmission line #6 are separated in a wavelength separation part, inputted via the first optical paths λ25-λ32 to the routing parts for λ25-λ32, converted into λ0 and are outputted from an intra-station signal output part to an intra-output-station optical transmission line #1. Similarly optical signals C, Dλ8 and λ17 are converted into λ1 and λ24 in the respective routing parts from the wavelength separation part via the first optical paths λ1-λ8 and λ17-λ24 and then outputted from the wavelength merging part to the intra- output-station transmission line via the second path.
