PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a distinct image having no glaring without impairing a reflection preventing property or image contrast by providing a roughened surface layer in which filler is dispersed at least in the resin matrix on a transparent base, and setting difference of the refractive index of the resin matrix and the filler to a specific value. SOLUTION: Directly or through another layer on one face or both faces of a transparent base 11, a roughened surface layer 12 in which filler is dispersed at least in resin matrix is constituted to form a glare-proof material 10. In this case, difference of the refractive indexes of the resin matrix and the filler is set to under 0.10. For the transparent base body 11 used for the glareproof material 10, a transparent film, glass, or the like is mentioned. As a concrete example, various resins such as polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate and glass base material such as quartz glass or soda glass are mentioned. The higher the transparency of the transparent base 11, the better it is, but the light transmittance is not less than 80%, desirably not less than 90%. |
