PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position an intermediate transfer body, a secondary transfer means and a secondary transfer entrance guide by providing an attachable/detachable intermediate transfer body unit and fixing the intermediate transfer body unit in a device main body by an intermediate transfer body unit fixing means after the intermediate transfer body unit is attached to a main body device. SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer belt 10 is laid by a driving roller 13, a belt transfer bias roller 11 and a driven roller 12a, and both end shaft parts of the respective rollers are held by roller holding members 31 and 32. The shaft ends of the respective rollers are more projected than the members 31 and 32, and the shaft ends of the respective rollers are inserted along a guiding grooves provided on the device main body side at the time of attaching an intermediate transfer belt unit, whereby the belt unit is surely attached. A handle 33 capable of rocking and used at the time of attaching/detaching the belt unit is set to a position shown by a solid line, so that the belt unit can be attached to/detached from the device main body. By tilting the handle 33 to a position shown by a dotted line after attaching the belt unit to the main body, the belt unit is fixed in the device main body.
