PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and assemblability by relaxing strictness of parts management of an electromagnetic relay. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises a core 31 which is inserted into a coil bobbin 20 fixed on a base 10, a yoke 30 which is disposed on the outside of the coil bobbin 20 and is magnetically coupled with the core 31, a moving contact spring 40 with a one end part 41 fixed by welding to the yoke 30, an armature 50 opposing the core 31 while being fixed on a free end part 42 of the moving contact spring 40 and supported free to rotate by the fixed yoke 30, and a moving contact 53 fixed on the free end part 42 of the moving contact spring 40 and opposing a fixed contact 77. Magnetic force of the core 31 generated when a current is supplied to a coil wire material 24 wound around the coil bobbin 20 magnetizes the armature 50 to bring the moving contact 53 into contact with the fixed contact 77. As the moving contact spring 40 is fixed by welding to the yoke 30, a hinge part between the armature 50 and the yoke 30 is adequately positioned and consequently size management becomes relaxed.
