<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high capacitance and a low internal resistance by using a sulfonium salt having a cation defined by a specified formula as an electrolyte. SOLUTION: The electrolyte uses a sulfonium salt having a cation defined by the formula (R, R' and R" are 1C-6C alkyl groups, pref. 1C-3C straight chain alkyl groups). The cation of the electrolyte is pref. selected from among the group consisting of BE4-, PF6-, CF3SO3-, ClO4-, and SiF62-, the solvent for dissolving the electrolyte uses an org. solvent, pref. one or more selected among carbonate type solvents and aprotic polar solvents, the electrolyte has a concn. of 0.2-2.5 mol/lit. and the water content of the electrolyte soln. is pref. 20 wt.ppm and more pref. 15 wt.ppm.</p> |
