摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decode information in a burst cutting area only by detecting repeated synchronous byte, by detecting a synchronous pattern and a synchronous code of the repeated synchronous byte information when the synchronous byte information is not detected yet, and decoding the subsequent information to store when the synchronous code has a code value of a specified order. SOLUTION: When a data processor 30 receives an instruction from a microcomputer 40 to start decoding the information recorded in a burst cutting area(BCA), it checks a reproducing signal whether or not a uniform synchronous pattern is detected from the signal, and if the synchronous pattern is detected, the processor checks whether a subsequently detected synchronous code is 0 or not. If the synchronous code is 0, this means that a synchronous byte has been detected, while if the code is 1, this means that a repeated synchronous byte has been detected. When the data processor detects the repeated synchronous byte, it carries out general BCA information decoding.
