PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen sensor, having a structure capable of executing easily integral assembling of a ceramic separator and a splicing fitting to an oxygen detection element. SOLUTION: The rear end edge of an internal electrode splicing fitting 23 is made to abut on the front end face of a ceramic separator 18. Therefore, when the internal electrode splicing fitting 23 is made to approach relatively a detection element 2 in the axial direction and fitted on the inside thereof, buckling thereof or the like will not occur, for example, even when a draw-out wire part 23b is extended from the internal electrode splicing fitting 23 to the lead wire side. As a result, assembling of the splicing fitting 23 to the oxygen detection element 2 in the integrated form of the separator 18 can be executed smoothly. |
