DISTRIBUTION PIPE OF EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent acidic condensate from accumulating inside a distribution pipe to prevent corrosion of the distribution pipe and to prevent deposit from accumulating. SOLUTION: This distribution pipe is divided into an upper chamber 10 and lower chamber 11 by a partition wall 9, and communicating holes 12 are formed on the partition wall 9. Recirculation exhaust gas flowing into the upper chamber 10 is made to flow into the communicating holes 12 to distribute the recirculation exhaust gas into the lower chamber 11. The distributed recirculation exhaust gas is distributed to an intake manifold from outlet holes 13 opened to the lower chamber 11. Each of lowest surfaces 13a of each of the outlet holes 13 is set generally flush with a bottom surface 11a of the lower chamber 11.
