PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the exchange of all the body of a puncturing adapter by installing the puncturing adapter and a needle receiving part so that they can be put on and taken off. SOLUTION: A ultrasonic probe for celom 1 is composed of a rod-shaped inserting part 3, a grip part 4 which is connected with the rod-shaped inserting part 3 and a cable 5 which is connected with an end of the grip 4. The rod- shaped inserting part 3 is installed at a puncturing adapter 2 so that the inserting part 3 can be put on and taken off and inserted in a celom of an examinee while holding the grip part 4. The cable 5 transmits a ultrasonic signal from a ultrasonic diagnostic device to a ultrasonic vibrator which is built in a point of the rod-shaped inserting part 3 and transmits a reflected echo signal. The puncturing adapter 2 has an installing part of the rod-shaped inserting part 3 and a pipe hanging and stopping part at a position which is opposed to the rod-shaped inserting part 3. The probe can be used in the same way as a usual united ultrasonic probe for celom by hanging and stopping a pipe which is provided at the rod-shaped inserting part 3 at the pipe hanging and stopping part of the puncturing adapter 2. Thereby, the exchange of all the body of a puncturing adapter can be decreased.
