PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic fiber rope having high torsional rigidity and a rope structure hardly affected by torsion by positively combining the inside strand layer with the outside strand layers. SOLUTION: This synthetic rope has aramid fiber strands 10 supporting load, twisted in parallel with each other at a concentric strand layer 14 and having an inter sheath 13 fitting to outside shape of adjacent strand layer. An elastic inter sheath 20 between strand layer 21 prevents wear of a strand 10 and transmits torque to wide area of a rope 1. |
