PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a takeoff and a touchdown of a helicopter type without requiring a long runway by providing disklike propeller devices with multiple rotary propellers in multiple stages on the periphery of an airplane body, and rotating the propellers of the disklike propeller devices. SOLUTION: Multiple disklike propeller devices 3 are provided at proper vertical intervals on the periphery of an airplane main body 2. When the disklike propeller devices 3 are provided in three stages vertically, for example, many propellers 4 are provided at proper intervals on each propeller device 3. Multiple horizontal propellers 4 are helicopter type rotary blades extended in the horizontal direction relative to the ground. Many propellers 4 are driven individually and independently. Since many propellers 4 are set, they can be replaced at a failure and can be well operated for a travel. This airplane 1 can be lifted to a fixed height, and it can take off and land.
