PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger capable of moving a hung object in the form of plate or block upon slinging safely through utilization of a through hole provided in the object or a through hole opened positively. SOLUTION: An object to be hung A is made in the form of a plate or block provided with a through hole B, and a hanger 1 is attached to the hole B for moving the object in the hung condition and is equipped with a cylinder 2 capable of being mounted in the hole B with a certain clearance and having an eccentric round hole 5 penetrating in the axial direction, a rod 3 installed rotatably in the round hole 5 and furnished with a hook 8 at the bottom and a hanger ring 10 at the top, and a lifting rope 4 installed at the ring 10, wherein the hook 8 appears and disappear through the bottom periphery of the cylinder 2 by rotating the rod 3.
