PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipiece solid golf ball having particularly excellent flying performance and a good feeling at the time of impact. SOLUTION: The centers of the multipiece solid golf ball consisting of >=1 layers of the centers 1, an intermediate layer 2 formed on the centers 1 and an outer layer 3 covering the intermediate layer 2 have JIS-C hardness 65 to 85 and the difference between the surface hardness and central hardness of the centers is <=10. The JIS-C hardness of the intermediate layer is lower by 0 to 10 times than the surface hardness of the centers and the JIS-C hardness of the outer layer is higher by 15 to 40 than the hardness of the intermediate layer 2.
