PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial sea grass assembly capable of well following even to small unevennesses at the water bottom or a sudden change in tilt, rapidly stabilizing in situ after the installation and providing high preventing effects on scouring and high effects as a fishing bank in the artificial sea grass assembly prepared by forming a lattice and attaching artificial sea grass produced by cutting an expanded synthetic resin sheet into a ribbonlike shape to sides of the lattice. SOLUTION: This sea grass assembly is obtained by folding back both ends of longitudinal or transverse steel wires in a J-shaped form at a site over the transverse or longitudinal steel wires, forming hooks, composing the shape of the hooks so that the curvature radius at the J-shaped bottom is sufficiently larger than the diameter of the transverse steel wires but a narrow part for enabling the transverse steel wires to hardly pass a gap between the tip of the J-shaped part and the steel wire body is present at tip in the assembly prepared by arranging the plural steel wires lengthwise and crosswise or lengthwise and crosswise and obliquely parallel, joining the steel wires at intersecting points. The hooks at the ends of two adjacent lattices are mutually hooked on the opposite transverse or longitudinal steel wires and connected.
