LCD MODULE USING FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT(FPC)

PURPOSE: A LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module using flexible printed circuit(FPC) is provided to reduce the thickness of the LCD module by using a FPC of small thickness to a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). CONSTITUTION: A LCD module using flexible printed circuit includes a LCD panel(110), a PCB(200), and a FPC(250). The LCD panel(110) includes upper plage and a lower plate on which liquid crystal is applied. The PCB(200) is connected to the upper plate by using a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) in parallel with edges neighboring each other. The FPC(250) is coupled on one side of the PCB which is not connected by the TCP. Many devices to activate the LCD panel are implemented on the side of the FPC which is applied to the PCB.
