STEERING ANGLE SENSOR INTEGRATED WITH CANCEL CAM OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A steering angle sensor integrated to a cancel cam of a vehicle is provided to perform a function as a cancel cam and a function for measuring steering angle of a steering wheel by being installed on the installation position of a cancel cam of a general multi-functional switch. CONSTITUTION: A cancel cam performs a function for returning a turn switch lever(10) to the original position according to the rotational direction of a steering handle by a protrusion(16a) formed on the circumference of a cancel cam(16). The measurement of steering angle of a steering handle(7) is performed by the operation of a detection ring(17) protruded on the circumference of the cancel cam and multiple light receiving elements and light emitting elements(21,22). The cancel cam connected to the steering wheel integrally by a connecting protrusion(18) is rotated with the steering wheel by the rotation of the steering wheel. The steering angle of the steering wheel is measured by the rotation of the detection ring and the operation of many detection holes(17a) formed on the circumference of the detection ring, the light receiving elements and the light emitting elements.
