APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRIVING A MICRO STEPPING MOTOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a micro stepping motor is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of the product by processing the driving controlling of a stepping motor in a software mode. CONSTITUTION: A micro controller(10) inputs the current controlling signal according to the input pulse signal and the operation of the stepping motor, and generates a pulse width modulating signal. Phase determining sections(12,14) generate two-phase motor driving signals according to the phase determining signals of the micro controller(10). Motor driving sections(16,18) drives the stepping motor(20). An error detecting section(22) detects the error signals from the motor driving sections(16,18).
