PURPOSE: A method for extending a transmission band of a TCP/IP server is provided to extend information transmission band and increase the number of terminal using a server by using a network of the server. CONSTITUTION: A method for extending a transmission band of a TCP/IP server comprises the following steps. At least two NICs(Network Interface Cards) are installed to a TCP/IP server. Terminals of each group are connected to specific NICs by grouping a plurality of terminal connected to each NIC. In the method, the number of terminal belonging to the group of the terminals connected to the specific NICs is determined by calculating the amount of traffic generated from the terminals and a total traffic.
