PURPOSE: A method is provided to produce a consume resisting steel rear plate of high weldability by applying a re-heating and hardening method and by applying a control rolling-direct hardening method in a steel having a surface Brinell hardness over 360 and an excellent weldability. CONSTITUTION: A used steel is contained 0.1-0.18% of a C, a Si under 0.5%, 0.006-0.01% of a B, 0.01-0.04% of a Ti, an N under 0.01%, a P under 0.02%, a S under 0.01% and other impurities. The steel is heated at 1100-1250°C and is control-rolled fine recrystallines by an accumulated reduction ratio over 40% and a finish rolling temperature over a temperature of an Ar3 temperature under a temperature of recrystallines. A wear resisting steel rear plate of high weldability is produced by directly hardening under 120seconds and by tampering under 350°C.
