PURPOSE: A method for advertising on the Internet is provided to advertise with a lower cost by selectively showing advertisements to a persons while storing the advertisements in a regular space of a homepage. CONSTITUTION: A method for advertising on the Internet comprises the steps of: making an operator establish an advertisement storage and an advertiser retrieval system; making a company and the operator contract for an advertisement; making an advertiser, a company transmit an advertising copy with an html text; making the operator store the advertising copy in the storage; making the operator register advertisers on the retrieval system; making a user visit a homepage; making the user retrieve the advertisers; making the user select a desired advertiser; and making the user output advertising copy in the selected advertiser.
