PURPOSE: A brown rice germination device and method thereof which can germinate in multitude by protecting brown rice from decay and stimulating growth as well as can remove odor occurred when germinating, and eliminate the need for changing water in every hours saving water are provided. CONSTITUTION: A brown rice germination method is comprised of following steps: supplying and circulating water stored in a water tank(10) to a germinating container(12) by operating a first underwater motor(20), thereby washing and swelling brown rice on a perforated plate(16) placed in the germination container; supplying water again for germination in water; draining water from the germination container for a certain time interval, and; supplying fresh air to the swelled brown rice on the perforated plate by operating air injection motor(40), then repeating the above steps until brown rice is germinated.
