PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an actual difference between two cylinders in combustion at each cylinder with a certain control concept. SOLUTION: A sensor unit 3.2 measures a first scale Ksch-i in the cyclic irregularity of an internal combustion engine in its coasting, and a second scale Kv in the cyclic irregularity of the engine in its combustion driving, respectively. A correction forming block 3.3 forms a third scale Ks to a cyclic irregularity component based on a torsional vibration. An electronic controller forms a fourth scale Kki to the cyclic irregularity unrelated to the cyclic irregularity component based on the torsional vibration at each cylinder, whereby equalization of a torque contribution portion is carried out on the basis of this fourth scale.
